There's something otherworldy about singing bowls. The way you can coax a haunting tone out of them simply by stroking the rim with a wooden mallet. It's no wonder that these beautiful bowls are connected to a variety of spiritual rituals and meditations. But, until now, you've kind of been stuck with whatever designs were cast or etched into them when they were originally made.
Enter Mantra Immortal!
We've pioneered a way to deep-engrave text or images into the bottom of these beautiful bowls. And no, before you ask, it doesn't affect the tone of the bowl at all. =)
We have two singing bowls available at the moment, the Mantra Singing Bowl and the Zazen Singing Bowl. The Mantra bowl is 4.5" wide by 3" high. The Zazen is 5" wide by 2.75" high. Both come with a mallet and a cushion. Just choose which of the singing bowl styles you want, then pick your personalization. What kind of personalization can you get? Well, we offer three options. Okay, three and a half:
1. TEXT: Choose whatever text you want at the bottom of the bowl. Want it in a circle? Straight across? Written vertically with every third letter capitalized? Sure thing! Try to limit yourself to 100 characters or so.
2. IMAGES: Send us an image. we can accept most images as long as they are of decent resolution and not ridiculously complex. If the image requires a lot of work for us to use it with our engravers we may contact you and let you know that a design fee will apply. Let us know if you want text around the image and/or a border.
2.5. 3D IMAGES. Have a 3D image you want us to engrave? Send it over. Don't have a 3D image but want us to add one? Just let us know what you would like and we'll see what we can do. Select the 3D image variation for this one.
3. WORD ART: Nothing makes a gift more personal than 10-25 important words that you share. Okay, maybe naked pictures of yourself printed on the gift would be more personal, but Word Art is a close second. Just send us a list of 10-25 words, ranked (see below). Make your most important word (maybe their name?) a 1 rank. Make the four or five next most important words a rank of 2. The next five or ten words a rank of 3, and the last five or ten words a rank of 4. We'll send you three variations of the word art for you to choose from.
